TEAL AND MUSTARD

There is a very strong trend for this colour combination at the moment, especially using the golden coloured Craspedia (see the post below for more on this amazing flower!)

LIME AND PINK

This lime and pink colour combination lends a very refreshing look to a wedding- and is especially suitable for a spring or summer event.

BLACKBERRY & STRAWBERRY BOUQUETS!

These are a recent obsession of mine- and I think they translate the rustic, country look perfectly!

MINIATURE FRUIT TREES

I just had to post some pictures of miniature fruit trees on here- I absolutely love them indoors (especially orange trees.) They definitely add an exotic touch to any interior, and can easily be transported to a wedding venue to add an unusual and colourful element.

BULBS

Plants can be a great alternative to flower arrangements for table centrepieces- and they can even be given away as gifts for guests to keep after the wedding!

FUSION FLOWERS

Fusion Flowers is the leading magazine for florists, and they have just recently launched a wedding edition. At £8.50 it's pricey, but it really is worth the money- especially if you're after wedding flowers with a designer feel. Here is the cover of the latest issue, with a beautiful floral parasol!

DAISY CHAINS

Speaking of flowers in hair, I was reminded of Celia Walden's wedding to Piers Morgan. The beautiful daisy-chain circlet completely epitomises this look- and daisies are set to be massive this summer as people favour a return to simple, rustic chic.

FLOWERS IN HAIR

Literally one of the prettiest things you could wear on your wedding day- if I ever marry I am definitely having some sort of flower in my hair!

MOSS!

I absolutely LOVE moss. I think it is beautifully simple and real, and although I don't consider myself eco, I love anything natural and green. It somehow manages to look both modern and rustic at the same time, and en masse it can look absolutely breath-taking.

LITTLE DETAILS

The key to making your wedding flowers very different, but not necessarily more expensive than other weddings, is to have something slightly unusual but that everyone will talk about. The following are a few examples.

MONOGRAM LETTERS

Monogram letters are huge at the moment, and I think they're beautiful!! They really personalise a wedding, whilst still looking elegant and simple.
